神宿る島、厳島のシンボル、朱く輝く大鳥居を間近に見上げ、古代と同じく海の上から厳島神社に参拝出来るのが、このツアーの醍醐味です。
593年創建の厳島神社を中心とする古代東洋文化エリアに対し、陸路のない宮島西岸は、手つかずの雄大な自然が織りなす東洋の多島美が現存する自然エリア。自然のままの海岸線や入り江、瀬戸内の穏やかな海、巨岩が織りなす東洋的で雄大な自然美から、神々しいエネルギーを体感できます。
古代から日本ではこのような自然美を八百万の神として崇めてきました。その古代東洋の人々と同じように、エンジンも無く環境にも配慮したシーカヤックだからこそ体験出来る特別で神秘的な場所へ。まだ知られていない宮島の魅力を、この道30年の熟練したガイドが英語でご案内します。

One of our most popular tours, this once-in-a-lifetime experience will take you sea kayaking through the Giant Torii Gate of Itsukushima Shrine and the beautiful islands of Setouchi-Miyajima, a National Treasure and World Heritage Site.
Built over 1400 years ago on the sacred island of Miyajima, Itsukushima Shrine is both a spiritual destination and an iconic landmark in its aesthetic beauty. While the shrine has acted as a cultural crossing point for hundreds of years, on that same small island of Miyajima, the Western perimeter has largely remained untouched, preserving the ancient landscape of Setouchi. With giant rock formations combined with a calm, serene inland sea, it is easy to understand why our ancestors felt a presence of God in this landscape.
Our tour will take you on a sea kayak, to sail through and under the Giant Torii Gate, an experience impossible for the average tourist who can only view the Torii from a distance since its base is submerged in the ocean for most of the day. With no loud engine distracting you from the calm, quiet beauty of the landscape, the sea kayak is the perfect vehicle to visit and explore Miyajima, not to mention its environmentally friendly nature.
Aside from our standard package, we offer flexible choices between a tour mostly focusing on the culture & history, or a more active nature/outdoors plan. Furthermore, if you are planning a visit for 2-3 days, we offer a full, thorough package, deep diving in to both the cultural and the natural. With over 30 years of experience in this field, our English speaking guides, born and raised in Hiroshima, will take you on a trip you will never forget.
